Cyber Security Innovation Vouchers close 23rd July 2014 – How Mitigate Can Help

Innovation Vouchers worth up to £5,000 are available for start-up, small or medium sized businesses looking to protect themselves from the growing issue of cyber threats in the UK, as well as worldwide. The voucher is available to organisations from all sectors as long as you have a project to fund which relates to or requires cyber security (this includes securing existing systems in your business) – however you only have until the 23^rd July 2014 to apply!

The scheme from the Technology Strategy Board, will allow your business to access expert help, advice and services from a range of suppliers, including Mitigate Cyber Security.  The voucher can be used to fund a multitude of different projects, such as branching out into e-commerce and protecting your new online business, as well as protecting existing processes and systems.

You can use your £5,000 Innovation Voucher with Mitigate to implement a cyber security strategy which will:

• Protect your IP and critical infrastructure
• Identify your information security requirements
• Support your existing security policies and standards compliance
• Embed a culture of cyber security into your business

How to apply
Go to the Innovation Vouchers website on https://vouchers.innovateuk.org/cyber-security where you can also find more information on the Cyber Security vouchers and guidance for applications.  Select the “Apply for this Innovation Voucher” button.  You will need to register and log in to provide details about your business.

Alongside details about your company size and eligibility, you will also be asked a few short questions on what you will use the voucher for, the impact this idea will have on your business, and which external supplier you are considering to work with.
