It’s that time of year again! From 8th – 12th November 2021, we are excited to announce that we will be participating in this years’ IASME charity campaign.
IASME is working closely with the National Cyber Security Centre to educate charities about the cyber threat they face and inform them about the benefits of Cyber Essentials. For one week, we are taking part by offering Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus at a discounted price for registered charity organisations.
Improving resilience against cyber criminal activity is more crucial than ever; especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Charity organisations are at high risk of a cyber attack due to the wide range of funding and the processing of personal, financial and commercial data, thus making them a prime target for cyber criminals.
With a majority of organisations relying on technology and remote working, it is increasingly necessary to make sure that businesses have the appropriate protection and procedures in place to detect and mitigate any risks and potential attacks.
Cyber Essentials certification scheme is a UK government-backed and industry-recognised award run by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The scheme was developed in response to the rapid increase in cyber security threats facing organisations and seeks to offer protection against up to 80% of IT security breaches.
With security consultants to advise in a clear and concise way, we feel our organisation has mitigated the threats both in-house and from the outside world. The need to protect our data is even more important now so many of us need to work remotely. Cyber Essentials certification is our way to show our business partners and staff just how seriously we take the threat and so what we can to protect our working environment.
