Mitigate Becomes CREST Member

Xyone Cyber Security is proud to announce that it is now a member of the UK Chapter of CREST following a rigorous assessment of its business processes, data security and security testing methodologies, further demonstrating the high level of cyber security expertise within the company.

CREST UK was established in 2006 as the first part of what would later become the international CREST network. Through a four-pronged approach of company membership, professional qualifications for individuals, knowledge sharing and professional development, CREST’s aim is to provide a ‘combination of independently assessed companies with access to professionally qualified staff underpinned by effective and meaningful Codes of Conduct provide the buying community with confidence in the services that they wish to procure ’, and it is endorsed by the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

About CREST

CREST is a not-for-profit accreditation and certification body representing the technical information security industry. CREST provides internationally recognised accreditations for organisations providing technical security services and professional level certifications for individuals providing penetration testing, cyber incident response, threat intelligence and security operations centre (SOC) services. CREST Member companies undergo regular and stringent assessment, whilst CREST certified individuals undertake rigorous examinations to demonstrate the highest levels of knowledge, skill and competence. To ensure currency of knowledge in fast changing technical security environments the certification process is repeated every three years.
